T5 Soundcheck

Taylor's T5 is a sort of hybrid guitar. It's more electric than acoustic, but it's supposed to be able to generate acoustic tones as well as electric ones.

From my own limited time with it, it feels (sound, the way the strings respond) more like an electric; though the neck feels more like their acoustic guitars, if that makes any sense.

Whatever. It didn't work for me (though I do think they look pretty cool.)

Taylor has a T5 Soundcheck on their website where you can hear what the T5 sounds like in various combinations through different amps. I don't know that it should really influence anyone's ultimate buying decision, but it is an interesting way to spend some time...
